A Taste of Italy
Positano, Italy has more to offer than its picturesque Cliffside village. The small conclave along the Amalfi Coast is known for its Italian culinary excellence. In 1997, we decided to bring a taste of Italy with a menu built on pizza, pasta, and the classic mains.
Our Approach
Always The Freshest Ingredients
What sets us apart from other Italian restos is our use of the finest, freshest, preservative-free ingredients. You won’t see any pre-packaged food in our kitchen.
The sauce? Made fresh each day. No tomato paste used. The Dressing? Made from scratch using olive oil, red vinegar, and seasonings whipped into a creamy consistency. Vegetables? Cooked “Al Dente” to retain the nutrients, texture, and natural flavor. Pasta? Our pasta is made from scratch in house! At Caffe Positano, you will taste the difference with our freshly-made dishes that are heartily cooked by our Chef.
THE CHEF
Our Positano way of cooking has been inherited by no less than our head chef and owner of Caffe Positano, Pasquale Barba. Born & raised in Positano, he honed his culinary skills across European countries.
With the help of his brother and cousins, Chef Pasquale has been serving local and foreign patrons with home-cooked rustic Italian dishes since 1997.
